I had so many requests for pictures of the DYI Hatch Latch I posted a picture: http://home.ix.netcom.com/~lbusch/Hatch Latch3.jpg

If you need a comparison to the commercial version I have a picture of this setup side by side with one of the commercial versions, courtesy of Larry Chase and Roadhaus.

But mine is adjustable! (Not really a needed feature, but nice)

BTW, I can't take credit for this. A member of one of the lists mentioned using a couple of eyebolts and a coupling nut. When I went looking to put that together I ran into this setup. And for the life of me I don't remember who should be getting credit for this, but thanks.
