Actually it runs goofy till it gets hot. Which I guess narrows it down
but I still have no clue. Also I'm with you on the coolant level
sensor. That's what it was on my 88 Jetta and looked the same to me.
Also I know what the sensor looks like thanks to vanagain parts
descriptions but I have looked all over for it and cannot locate the
darn thing.
