Waterboxer head gasket do not separate coolant and oil. Loose/broken studs may allow coolant into the oil but oil going into the coolant is usually the oil cooler. Of course the next question would be why did it fail?

I think you are in for a top job on the engine, if it is like the regular water cooled engines, it means the head gasket is blown, I only have air cooled engines so the water cooled guy's will have to verify this.. Good luck with it. Phil
