That is an excellent point as mine is the same. Clear it by a couple of
inches after I adjusted the garage door opener carefully. Of course this
is with my roof rack and carrier taken off for winter storage.


If you go with bigger wheel and adjust the aspect ratio to retain the
overall diagmeter you wouldn't have problem.

Here's a though...my Westy fits in my garage...why...because I have 14
inch wheels and Borge shocks...I clear the garage header by ONE
inch....IF I CHANGED WHEELS AND SHOCKS....WESTY WOULD NOT FIT...keep
this in mind if you plan on garaging your Westy.....
