"Ok, is there an easy spot to refill some of the transmission fluid?"

Checking the level and filling are done at the same hole. I think it's 17mm hex socket. The fill hole is on the right/psgr side of the tranny. Use a flashlight to peer around up there and you'll find it between the "fins". You don't want to fill it to running out the hole, maybe 1/4" or so below. Stick your finger in there. Some volks use a funnel, attached to a plastic hose which is put in the filler hole. If you jack that side of the van real high it makes this easier. I personally use a pump and quart oil container while I'm laying on the ground under there. Just easier for me that way and gear lube can take quite awhile to drain via gravity and I'm too impatient and like getting dirty.

Hope that helps

Ok, is there an easy spot to refill some of the transmission fluid? When I replaced my reverse light switch, some fluid drained out. Not much, but Id like to top it off. Also, is there a way to check the level?

thanks!
