Fuel system failures.
Only happen below freezing or above 140 degrees pavement that is being
worked on.  (makes for instant frozen fingers or instant bbq.)

Catastrophic battery failure.
Only happens when you are the furthest point in time and space from a
replacement.

Belt failure.
See above.

Full dump of cooling system.
See above. And will only be the hose that you have to lie on your back in a
snow drift and/or 6 inches of mud to replace.

Flat tires.
Only at most inconvenient time.  I.e. Female driver in absolute finest
finery and in the rain and mud (and the nearest helpful male type is out of
contact) =20

Daddie factor
Usually involves female driver of any age, licensed or unlicensed.
Usually goes...Hi daddie..havent heard from you in  a while.. Are doing
okay?  BTW I am totally broke down at point x (which is totally light years
from point y and off course meets all rules for completely inconvenient
maintenance as well.)
