There are a few other differences.  Starting in 1990 we have day time
running lights.  Dashes are different in some years.  No OXY light in the
dash nor oxygen sensor counter.  I am sure there are a few other difference
too...

the only difference between Canadian market vanagons and US market vanagons
is the speedometer  says KPH instead of MPH, and the e-brake warning light

thats it.

other than what i just listed, Canadian and US model vanagons are the same.
the same windshields, seatbelts, emission equipment, lighting, gas tank and
filler neck, all the same.
no other differences.
a speedo cluster change is all that is needed to conform to US standards.
