Hello all. I am trying to figure out a good solution to mount and
supply my new (to me) Platinum Cat heater. I decided to mount it to a
post that sits where the front table used to sit. I think it will
work well there.

For the gas, there is already a T in the gas line that supplies the
stove. It does not have any sort of valve built in. It's just a ???
fitting that a flex hose fits onto. So anything that I install will
have to control the flow of the gas.

I would love to make it a quickly removable install and have a hose
with a quick release on the other end that I could poke through the
cabinets just behind the Driver's seat. The heater would have a ~2'
hose with the proper male-end of the quick release attached. The
venting would go through a plexiglas template stuck into the side
window and power would have some sort of attachment to plug it in
(cigarette lighter?) easily.

The only issue I am running into is finding the proper fitting. I
found a quick release at the local gas place and it's $70! A bbq one
is cheaper, but not meant for use in the hose. Has anyone here done
this, and if so, what kind of fittings/setup did you use?
