Subject: Two Westies FS in NJ
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"
I have two Vanagon Westies for sale at the moment:
Tan 85 Westy with only 85k original miles. Manual transmission, new
clutch, new head gaskets, valve job, new tune up parts, several new
hoses, new muffler, oxygen sensor, and bilstein shocks. This van has
been garage kept for the last 17 years. Owned by an old couple and in
exceptional condition. In like-new condition inside. The outside is
the same except for one 3" long scratch that I put on the van that
didn't go through the paint. No rust! I am asking $6500 firm for this
beauty. You don't come across really clean, original vans like this
White 88 Westy with around 150k miles (not sure of exact mileage).
Manual transmission, new head gaskets, new tune up parts. Many new
hoses. Newer tires, newer 3 window canvas, newer Bilstein shocks,
brakes, and front end parts. Van runs excellent. I just took a 1600
mile trip with it and it ran well and got almost 18 mpg. Body has some
rust. The two front footwells are the worst and are still there but
should be replaced eventually. The rear hatch is also rusty and there
is some seam rust on the verital seam behind the driver's door and some
paint chips on the nose. However this is a very solid and reliable
westy that has been well taken care of. I am asking $10000 obo for it.
Both vans are located in Millville, NJ 08332. You can come and look at
them by appointment. Just give me a call.
