The CRV factory fog lights (an accessory, not an option) are without doubt the best engineered factory accessory I've ever seen. The kit includes a replacement wiring harness for DRL equipped vehicles that only runs the fogs when the low beams are switched on. Hitting the brights forces them off, even if the fog switch position is set to on.

I find myself using them most of the time as the beam is cut off very low, and the elipsoid reflector creates a very wide light pattern. In town at night you have far better illumination of the sides of the road where little critters of all mammalian descriptions tend to lurk. IMO, they should be standard.
