Subject: PVC flexable flooring, Diamond plate
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

I have decided to get a piece of PVC "comfort flex" flooring for my Vanagon. Because of the minimum size required to order, there will be enough to do two vans. I favor the "euro" diamond plate or the pixel pattern in Grey. But the wood with square stainless steel inserts looks cool too. I like them all; but if anyone on the list wants to buy the unused half from me I will take that into consideration. I was unable to find the style/designs on the web so I scanned a paper catalog page to my yahoo pics that hopefully can be viewed here. Sorry if the address gets cut off--you will have to copy and paste.

My sister is in charge of the carpet shop and she will be able to order any of the styles, however I have not used this type of flooring before and am not sure about the long term wear. Benefits over traditional vinyl flooring is this will stay in place with Velcro to attach to existing carpet and won't curl at edges. She showed me some samples and it looks quite suitable. She has used one large piece at the entrance to the store and it holds up well and edges don't seem to be a problem even in high traffic area.
