Hi all
Just an update on the start but wont stay running issue. I replaced all the vacuum hoses and intake stuff. still wouldnt run for more then 30 sec. so after
spending way to much time checking harness pins that turned up a bad injector on #3. I even swaped with a known good computer and installed another fuel
filter and made damn sure the fuel pump was primed and did a fuel pressure check. So finally with no change i get ticked off and just do what i do when
nothing works. I just keep taking stuff off till i find the problem. Well lucky for me i found the plastic vacuum line hose "T" had cracked almost in half. So i
replaced the "T" and hooked everything back up. what sucks is i had already installed new hoses to both sides of this connector and in the course of
cramming it all back together it had cracked to almost in half. AKA big old air leak. got it back to idle and sounds strong. so problem is fixed. now i need to
adjust timing and swap out the bad injector.

on a side note if oil is dripping out of the tailpipe after running for awhile what does this mean. the motor sat for 1.5 years before being started again is it just
residual and will burn off. ive had smoke out the tailpipe but not just oil. Guess i need to just burn it off and see what happens. im not really worried at this point.

So the moral is Check and Double check those hoses. AIR / Fuel / Vacuum / Intake / Water. they dont engineer rubber to last 21 Years.
