Well, you're driving a Syncro Anthony!
The longer trips that we take are almost all in the Western USA. Mt Targhee
Bluegrass Festival (ugh), the Sinkyone Wilderness Area, Cape Lookout, the
Mt Hood Bluegrass Festival.
The 84 gave us an average of 31.8mpg (27 US) when it was younger, but
neither of us is kids any more! The taller diff gearing is really apparent
on the 84; it is much more sluggish than the 86, and a lot less busy at 60
mph on the highway.
I really want an AAR or AAP 5 speed with 4.57 R & P for Dixie: then I'd
have the acceleration AND the cruising gears, all in one van.
