Maybe this link will help some. It shows installation of the relay used in the 1315 but without the 1315 control module attached. Really, all you need is an 8 gauge wire from each battery + terminal to either side of the relay main lugs. Then attach a ground wire from the male spade ground post of the 1315 with the other end screwed to chassis ground. You can mount the 1315 unit anywhere it will fit. Depending on the battery there is room for it in the battery box next to the battery.
