Subject: Syncro won't start when hot outside
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" ; format="flowed"

I bumped into someone with these symptoms on his 86 Syncro. Any suggestions on where to look?

------- Three times now the van has not started in hot weather. Two were fresh starts and the engine cold. It turns over but doesn't fire. There is spark and the distributor is fine. The battery is new. Once in Osoyoos (Hot weather) I stopped for gas and the same thing would not start. I push started it no problem. Then was able to drive all the way to Kimberly. I can hear the pump build up pressure and then stop. It just doesn't fire.
