I'm researching options for replacing the old, unreliable Dometic in my 1982
VW Vanagon Westfalia.

Dometic wants to know the model number to see if there is a replacement
option, but unfortunately, some of the numbers on the aluminum plate are
abraded through years of contact with one of the knobs.

Can anyone on the list help me figure out exactly what model my Dometic is?
Or alternatively, what current product model would replace it?

The best I can read the model # is RM 18_ A.  I cannot say what the missing
digit is.

Product number is 926 73 __.  The last two digits are abraded, but I think
the last one is a 6.  Next to the last is totally unreadable.
