I drove my '87 with the WXB at 60-70 except for this one hill on the trip to work, with the Subie 2.2 I drove at 60-70 BUT I was just able to get to the speed just as fast as everyone else instead of having to watch out for the faster traffic. I could drive with the traffic ALL the time. The brakes stopped just the same at 70 with the WBX or the Subie 2.2 I did get better gas mileage and it looked so "at home" in the engine compartment. <g>

I've been saying this stuff everytime this conversion comes up, everytime someone lets loose with an inaccuracy about the subie conversion or bad mouths it because they have something different. I've bought & converted a Subaru harness-ecu-intake just because I thought it was fun, (sold it too). I like the conversion.

I'm sounding like a broken record (IMO) on this subject, I think I'm done talking about it for awhile.

If anyone wants to talk about the conversion, ask questions or whatever send me a p-mail.
