Speaking of Westy sliding window screens...........

I've noticed that the ''fingernails-on-blackboard'' screeching sound that most of us hear (when sliding the glass open), is actually caused by the thin edge of the plastic screen frame scraping against the glass, as it slides past. Silicone spray on the edge worked for a little while to quiet it, but it returned a short while later.
