Robert,
You seem to have a good point. If someone has a reason why the 'parallel'
structure would not work (not excuses why they would rather keep it as is,
which serve a supposed minority or at least an eventual minority) I'd really
like to hear it.
I can hear the 'this isn't a democracy' responses already.
IMO, this decision would best/most wisely be left to three or five geeks to
decide (assuming the transparency would exist both visually and
functionally). It matters not that this isn't a democracy or someone owns a
piece here or manages a part there. What matters is the long term
survivability of a 'good' thing, correct?
