Sure -- but you don't necessarily need to get industrial quality to
have a good tool, a lot depends on how much you'll use
it.  Porter-Cable and Black & Decker are made by the same people,
incidentally.  I've used my Porter-Cable $200 battery drill a good
deal for many years and it's in great shape.  The bearings on my $35
Black & Decker "skilsaw" I'm pretty sure are rated for an operating
life of about one hour, which is about what I've put on it in ten
years.  I bet I can buy a set of bearings for it for $10.  And it's a
bunch lighter than a worm-drive Milwaukee, too.
