VAG might be accused of 'badge engineering' but they haven't bodged the badges to cross company product lines yet that I am aware of.

In other words, Ebay Seller either intentionally or accidentally called a VW badge Audi. He is wrong, wrong wrong.

Buyer got lucky that other VW guys who also needed the badge did not notice. I once bought a NOS lower cargo door for my Doka for £25.

Seller mislabeled as a 'T2' treasurechest door vs. a 'Type 2 T3' door

as he intended. Said door retails for about $500 in the US. €250 in Europe. This is more common than you'd think.
