Subject: Dead Wipers and Heater Fans
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

When I was in the Navy, and then later in Aircraft Maintenance - electrical problems were always jokingly attributed to the mysterious "intermittent short to ground!" Well, it's here again!!

Started to rain, hit the wipers - nothing. Checked the heater fans - front and rear. Nothing. Jiggles ignition switch, still nothing. Cycled the wiper switch several times, nothing. Got home, started up the uphill drive way, wipers started. Checked the heater fans - both work. So it's not fuses.

I haven't started looking yet, nor looked up the circuits in the Bentley - but any ideas where to start? I have a new ignition switch to install. Is this the time? BTW, I'm about to swap out for the programmable wiper relay.

Thanks,

John
