Atlanta to Mt Vernon OH & back to attend the Dixie Bus Gathering, my first time camping with Central Ohio Valley folks in their neck of the woods and a really good time, especially the eating part. Thanks to Frank Biffath for throwing this bash.

I drove straight up to the campground, taking around 10 hours, then came home via US23,`US52 and the Blue Ridge Parkway. (Fancy Gap VA, to the intersection of BRP & US23, them home via US23/441, I985 & I-85. Fuel mileage on the parkway leg was 22.5mpg, the 100 mile leg home where I went lickety-fast was 18.1.

The stats according to Garmin: seat time- 30 hours, moving average- 49mph, max speed- um >83, <84 on that last leg. Told you I was in a hurry- the usual when I'm doing a bachelor run, which is all too frequently this year. :-(

The fridge performed admirably in the heat- wish I could say the same about the cruise control, which continues to give me intermittent fits. _This time_ I'm be needing a new connecting rod, part number 025130365, which keeps popping off the ball on the throttle end.
