The only thing I have seen is some guy who used a small boat boarding ladder (I think that's what they'r called). When he bought it it had some large hooks that would have been used to hang it on the side of a boat. there were also a couple of stand-offs near the bottom to hold the ladder away from the side of the boat. These he had hack sawed off and ended up with a ladder that could be stowed on top of the folded bunk. He said he had used it a few times for the kids but had decided it was more trouble than it was worth. I don't know how much he paid for the ladder. I imagine a ladder such as are seen on some of the fancier RV's would serve the same purpose if some way was found to make them detatchable.

Getting myself, grandchildren, and older people in and out of this area takes some creative thinking. How have people solved this problem? Thanks for your thoughts
