David, we have had no problems fitting forward facing child's seats to the
bench seat of our camper with lap belts.  We have three lap belts on the
seat and they can all be used.  I have also added a square section steel
bar inside the rear door to which I have fixed attachment points.  When we
need more carrying capacity we can put two child seats right in the back of
the van - but its then hassle to open the rear door!
