Joel - Yup, you got it! That '66 Alfa Guiletta (or how ever those Italian Dudes spell it) roadster I bought just after returning from Viet Nam CONFIRMED this "karma" stuff for me! I'm convinced the electrical system was designed/fabricated/installed by dudes/dudettes who had caught their "significant others" in the arms of another the night before. The carburetors & associated paraphenalia were, obviously, installed by some poor soul who had just finished spending a fortune of his "honey", only to see her elope with some dingy Harley-Davidson Dude the night before!

You know, some folks complain about some vehicles' insistence on NOT following the rules elaborated within various service manuals. Good grief! We folks are made up of far fewer elements than these machines we try to love and even WE do not follow the owner's manual all that well!!!
