Hi Readers: No, I don't mean 100% woollen ones. I mean electrically heated pads that provide 50 to 80 watts of heat to the battery, so it doesn't freeze in -30 C weather here in Winnipeg. My FLA(service center) said, "Nah, just point da van outta da wind, anja be all rite, eh". I think a battery blanket is a good thing, and will help. Do any other Cannucks (local idiom for Canadian) have any opinions or experience with this? Non Canadian opinions are grudgingly (suspiciously) accepted as well. ;) There are two concerns I have: 1. There isn't much free space in the area for the blanket 2. I will have to run an extension cord through the window, I think. Any solution, even magical, to this? Regards to all in the New Year Marshall Ruskin 84 Westy
