---------------- Hi Marshall, This is a question I have had myself but have not seen the answer you and I both are looking for. The head flat surface could be milled no problem, however this would make it necessary to fly cut the head where the jugs (cylinders) slide into the heads so the head would still mate up to both the jugs and the case (block) water jacket at the same time. While doing the fly cut it would be great to fly cut (bore) it over sized as the head often has pits and flaws where it mates with the green O rings on the jugs. The case would then need to be punched out a bit also. This would in turn make it necessary to install oversized jugs. Now we are talking more ccs. Maybe all this machine shop work and oversized jugs and pistons could be bought for around the same $800 we now pay for new heads. Not in our wildest dreams most of you are saying and I should really stick with electronics and things electrical in nature. Dear Readers: Is it possible to repair the Wasserboxer head problem by machining flat the head surface? I am wondering if this is the type of thing a local machine or head-repair shop could do. I did search the archives for this topic, with no hits. I guess I used the wrong keywords, as I am certain that this topic must have been visited before. Thank you in advance. Freezing In Winnipeg.
