In a message dated 99-03-23 03:03:52 EST, you write: Hello Harald, << Wie gehts?Danke gut und selbst?

I also have an auto tranny in my '90 westy. No problems. But I was just wondering what the high performance kit is.

I've stronger clutches.

Do you change the gear ratios, when you use the auto tranny with the 5 cyl. conversion?

Not at all.The 5C Cyl. have 6250 rpm as limit

I would like my engine to rev somewhat slower during freeway cruising.

The easy way is with biger tires , every other way is realy expensiv.

I am also wondering - do you have any experience or opinions about different transmission fluids for the automatic. (example, redline racing auto tranny fluid)

No I had never a problem with any ATF. If you obtain the fluid level and maintain the transmission every brand ATF will do it , but don't save money by buying some unknown brand .

I have been following your posts about the conversions with great interest.

Did you see our 2.6 l special ?
