Subject:      Filling Water Tank: Hard Water

The municipal water in my town is VERY hard...with a heavy mineral and
chlorine taste (but which does become drinkable after filtering with a Brita
pitcher).  Nonetheless, I plan to fill up my water tank with it for washing
hands/pots etc.

Does anyone see any problems with this?
Anyone had any problems with hard water in the tank?
