i seem to remember a listmember stating something about this, and this
afternoon, during a trip to the local junkyard, i tried the headrests from a
Merkur XR4Ti on a vanagon seat - and they fit perfectly!   they adjust
forward and back, as well as up and down.  i found a pair of grey leather
ones, and they match my grey front captains chairs.  they just slide right in
the headrest sockets, and are alot more comfortable (more padding, no "hole"
in them) than the stock vanagon headrests..
