Hi All, Recently I have been having problems with my 90 vanagon idling when cold. I must apply gas to get it started but it will immediately die without me intervening with the gas pedal. I am told that the throttle valve switch can cause a similar problem. I checked and adjusted the switch per the Bentley but the problem still persist. I "jumped" the connector to simulate a closed switch and it still died. The Idle Stablizer Valve seems to be fine since it "hums and vibrates" like it should. The wisdom of the List is my last resort before it makes it's idleless trip to the VW dealer. Thanks, Williie
